A Goat’s Milk Soap Company

All of our soaps (unless specified) are made with goat’s milk and are created from the finest quality of oils, essential oils, fragrance oils and local ingredients. The goat’s milk that we use comes fresh from an old-time friend who has a goat farm in West Point, Indiana. The beeswax used in some of the recipes comes from my bee mentor in Lafayette, Indiana and the honey used comes from our very own bee hive on our farm in Lafayette, Indiana. I enjoy going back to the basics and using natural colorants and additives when making the soaps so that I know I am working with the simplest ingredients. I use mainly clays and powdered forms of vegetables, bee pollen, charcoal, cocoa, plant roots and titanium dioxide when creating the designs of my soaps. For decorative and exfoliant properties I use poppy seeds, coffee grounds, orange peels, lemon peels, oats, dried flowers and cranberry seeds. I also stick to using plant-based oils and butters which include: olive oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, castor oil, canola oil, avocado oil, hemp oil, grapeseed oil, apricot kernel, oil, cocoa butter, mango butter, and shea butter (just to name a few). The oils and essential oils used in the soaps come from Jedward International, INC - a US Company that offers Fair Trade, Friend of the Sea, and USDA Organic; and Bramble Berry – a well-respected and high-quality soaping supply company.
I decided to begin making my own soap because as a mother of 4 children we go through a lot of soap! I also wanted to use a product that would not only clean my hands, but condition them as well. I work outside in my large garden hand pulling the weeds, keeping up with the landscaping, taking care of the chickens, and doing whatever yardwork needs to be done. My hands deserve a treat for working so hard! Another reason to pay attention to what I used for washing my hands was because I want my kids to remember their mom having strong, but soft hands. The goat’s milk soap that I have created gives me exactly what I was looking for. Another benefit from my handcrafted soaps is the wonderful aroma that comes from the essential and fragrance oils used in the soaps.
Ours hands are what we wash the most and what we use to hold our most precious blessings. Treat yourself to a product that will make your hands feel great!
Blessing,
Meghan Garrison
